Connection matters
A strong and trusting therapeutic connection has been shown to lead to better outcomes. A therapist that is attuned to you can make all the difference.
Here is a quick guide to choosing the right therapist.
In-person sessions
I have Monday to Friday sessions available at my Lonsdale Quay office. Right at the Sea bus station is it easily accessible by car and transit across the North Shore and Vancouver. There is available pay parking in several close by lots. It’s also crazy close to the best croissants in the city.
Due to COVID precautions we will keep 6ft of distance at all times during in person sessions. Hand sanitizer is available for your use and masks are optional during sessions.

Online sessions
Online therapy has been shown to be just as effective as in person sessions. Virtual sessions aren’t for everyone or suitable for every situation but we can figure that out before starting.
For online sessions*, you will receive an e-mail 2 hours before your appointment with links to join the session. You must use Google Chrome web browser for our link to work or download the Jane app for mobile devices.
*I am only registered to see clients who reside in the province of British Columbia.
For the session you’ll also need:
head phones
a charged device (laptop or tablet works best)
a comfortable seat
notifications off, and tabs closed
a reliable wifi connection
a quiet space
anything you need for comfort (eg. water, tea, tissues)
Payment
Many insurance companies accept registered Masters level social work clinicians for reimbursement. I accept credit card payment.
Rate
185/ 60 min session
Registered Social workers are ‘medical professionals’ under the TAX ACT which means you can claim this service on your tax return.
Cancellation Policy
The full fee is payable if less than 24 hours notice is provided.
